Open access and Fees

PROBLEMS of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases is an open access journal since 2021-01-01 with all content available under CC-BY 4.0 license.

Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access and the CC-BY 4.0 license.

The materials selected for publication in PROBLEMS of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases are judged solely on their merits.

No fees are charged to the authors or readers of the journal.

The journal is entirely financed by the Bulgarian Ministry of Health.

On rare occasions, the journal may include a section promoting a product or a company, but this is not a common practice, it is always located on a separate page from the rest of the content at the beginning or near the end of the publication and never among the scientific content. The decision for such content is taken after a complex assessment of the promoted product carried out by the experts in NCIPD. Advertisements are never related in any way to editorial decision making and are kept separate from the published content.
